After being in an open source exile for almost a year, I finally could not resist any longer and I installed Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot) on my laptop.
Did a Wubi install directly from the website, simple enough and hardly took an hour.
And then , my system reboots and viola!
And then…WHOA! I have missed a lot of action in this 1 year!
The look and feel are completely different from what I was used to and it took me 2 whole minutes to figure out how to open the good ol’ terminal! 
The side bar is pretyy need and handy.
It’s hardly been 10 minutes since I installed and will be exploring further in the coming days…might be posting updates soon, if I manage to get my lazy ass up to it!
Good times…good times…
P.S. A lot of things have happened to me in the last one year, like getting a job, etc…but that’s past and gone. Won’t be updating my blog with all that shit.
